To make this week extra special we have invited acclaimed Freelance
photographer Dan Burton to be a guest specialist.
He will be available throughout the week to give advice and tips.
Dan's most recent trip saw him photographing the freediver Julia Petrik with Beluga Whales under the ice in the White Sea in Russia.

ITINERARY: NORTH AND BROTHERS
This Itinerary will visit some of the Red Sea's most photogenic dive sites including - Abu Hashish, Shaab el Urg, Brother Islands and the wrecks of the Salem Express, S.S Thistlegorm, Carnatic and Ghiannis D.
FOCUS: Underwater Videography & Photography
PURPOSE: The aim of the 'Red Sea Through a Lens' is a workshop based itinerary where divers get to develop and extend their skills in underwater videography and photography. The elected dive sites provides enthusiasts of all skill levels to capture a portfolio of varied subjects, including both reefs and wrecks, corals and marine species on a macro and micro scale. Once back on board, workshops will include using editing software.
During this week, divers will experience some of the most pristine diving that the Red Sea has to offer, as well as receive expert tuition from blue o two's resident underwater audio-visual specialists.

EXPERTLY RUN:
The Blue Melody has employed the expertise of Dray and Karin Van Beeck . As well as experienced Red Sea dive guides, Dray and Karin are both specialists within the field of underwater videography and photography. Joining the blue o two team in 2005, Dray and Karin unify blue o two's unique panel of expert dive guides; all offering our divers exceptional skills in scuba diving, marine studies and underwater audio-visual production.
WHO WOULD ENJOY THIS ITINERARY?
Red Sea Life Through a Lens allows video and photo enthusiasts to add a greater purpose to their Red Sea holiday, so anyone who has an active interest in beginning or extending their skills. However, important to bear in mind is that as well as learning from experts about underwater image capture, divers will enjoy daily diving on very special wrecks and reefs; the wreck of the Salem Express and Elphinstone Reef, making this an equally enjoyable week for those just wanting to enjoy the diving.
